Two giant poodles, Donki and Guancinale, died after undergoing obedience training at a dog training center in Marikina. According to the owner, it took them five days before they were informed of their pets' deaths. They were shocked to learn that the dogs were buried immediately without informing them.
According to the poodles' owner, the cause of Donki's death was heatstroke, but he doubts the training center's statement. He even saw the face of one of the dogs bloody in the photos shown to him. What's even more painful is that one of the poodles' lips were stuffed into a bag of dog food.
The training contract for the pets was supposed to be two months, but the trainer allegedly requested an extension. The pet owner was paid up to ₱50,000, based on the center's good reputation on social media. The trainer allegedly showed off that he was teaching the pets of several well-known influencers.
The pet owner is ready to file a complaint against the dog training center. They are not only exposing this on social media but also want the center owner to be held accountable by law. “This is not just a matter of chance. We want justice for Donki and Guancinale,” he stated.
