Ten Chinese nationals were arrested in Bataan for operating a scam hub in several houses in a residential area. The NBI raided three houses believed to be the center of an online scam.
Inside the houses, the NBI found numerous computers, electronic gadgets, and satellite internet systems used in illegal operations. According to NBI Assistant Director Noel Bocaling, the suspects were former members of a larger POGO group.
Ten Chinese are currently in the custody of the NBI and are facing charges under the Anti-Financial Account Scamming Act. Investigations are ongoing to find other possible scam hubs in Bataan.
