A woman, Anna, 49 years old, was shot while cooking lunch at her house in Sitio Gitna, Barangay Ilayang Nangka, Tayabas City, Quezon on Saturday morning.
A man wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and a helmet entered the house, then suddenly pulled out a gun and shot Anna in various parts of her body. The suspect immediately fled on a motorcycle without a license plate.
The family took the woman to the Tayabas Community Hospital, but doctors declared her dead. Police are currently investigating CCTV footage to track down the suspect.
