The Juans, the popular Filipino pop rock band, will premiere their new short film music video for the song “Ano Ba Talaga Tayo?” on May 16, 2025, 9:00 PM at Viva Café, Cubao, Quezon City. It is called a “song film” and is directed by John Manalo. The band first teased it on May 4 and their fans have been eagerly awaiting it.
The short film stars Miles Ocampo as Ari and Elijah Canlas as Joms. This is the second time the two will be working together in a music video this year, after Cup of Joe's "Multo" in March.
Ari is a young artist who loves to love—with all his heart, with all his heart. But because of his openness to love, he often gets hurt. Meanwhile, Joms is a man who is afraid of commitment, brought on by his troubled family background. That's why he keeps moving between relationships and finds it hard to be serious.
Despite his weaknesses, Joms is portrayed as a good person despite his shortcomings. He just has a great need to mature and heal.
Watch the short film of Juans at their JAM gig on May 16 and simultaneously be thrilled (or hurt?) by the question: “What Are We Really Like?”
