R&B singer Chris Brown, 36, was arrested in Manchester, UK on May 15 on suspicion of assaulting a music producer at a London nightclub in 2023.
According to reports, the incident took place on February 2023 at the Tape nightclub in Mayfair, London, where he allegedly assaulted Abe Diaw with a bottle. He was arrested at a prominent Manchester hotel in the early hours of Thursday.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they have arrested a 36-year-old man for grievous bodily harm. The suspect remains in custody while the investigation continues.
Chris Brown arrived in Manchester via private jet on Wednesday and is expected to perform at several concerts in the UK next month.
Although Brown is known for his talent in R&B and rap music, he has also been involved in controversies several times, including the case of assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
