The three men died after a collision between a motorcycle and a truck in Kabankalan, Negros Occidental on Saturday night.
The motorcycle driver, Ian Samanero, and his passengers Robin Causapin and Jomel Hamaybay, were dead on arrival at the Kabankalan City Hospital due to severe head and body injuries.
According to the report, the accident occurred in Barangay Tampalon while the three were traveling and their motorcycle collided with a truck driven by Gerardo Makilan III.
Makilan was taken to the police station for investigation. It is still being investigated if the victims were drunk when the accident happened.
The investigation by authorities into the incident is ongoing to determine the full details of the collision.
