The new Mario movie seems to have a new title — Super Mario World. A press release from Universal Pictures revealed this, but it was quickly deleted online.
According to reports, the sequel is scheduled for release on April 3, 2026. Although the film does not yet have an official title, the press release listed it as Super Mario World before it was removed.
Many fans believe that the title is a reference to the post-credits scene of the first film, which featured Yoshi — the character who first appeared in the game Super Mario World in 1990.
In the revised version of the release, the name Super Mario World is no longer there, as are films such as Shrek and Minions.
Although it has not been confirmed yet, it seems likely that this will be the official title. Fans are already excited for the next adventure of Mario and Yoshi on the big screen.
