A young woman in the US was forced to live in a dog crate and abused for an extended period of time, according to authorities in Camden County, New Jersey. A couple, Brenda Spencer, 38, and Branndon Mosley, 41, have been arrested for holding and abusing the young woman who had lived in their home for more than seven years.
According to the victim, he was removed from school when he was in the 6th grade and forced to live in a dog crate for almost a year. After that, he was confined to a padlocked bathroom where he was chained and his movements were restricted using an alarm system.
The girl also said she was beaten with a belt and sexually assaulted by Mosley. After escaping on May 8, she sought help from a neighbor and revealed years of abuse.
