A car suddenly burst into flames while traveling on the national highway in Barangay Malatgao, Narra, Palawan at around 8:00 p.m. on May 4, 2025. According to FO3 Precila D. Estuye, Chief Public Information Officer of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Narra Station, two men were aboard the vehicle, including the driver, who is from Malatgao, Narra.
The driver said that while they were driving on the highway, the car's engine suddenly stopped. When they tried to restart it, it suddenly caught fire. They immediately reached outside the car and called the BFP for help.
Luckily, no one was injured in the incident, and BFP personnel immediately responded to put out the fire.
