A couple riding a motorcycle were shot and killed by an unknown suspect in General Trias City, Cavite. The victims were identified as Alberto from Las Piñas City and Catherine of Barangay Molino 3, Bacoor City.
According to the report, the two were riding a Yamaha Aerox with license plate 331UJK and were traveling through Pabahay 2000, Barangay San Francisco when they were suddenly blocked by the suspect, who was also riding a motorcycle. Due to the shock, Alberto was unable to react immediately and opened fire on them.
The couple was hit by multiple bullets and they were dead at the scene of the crime. It was learned that one of them had cellphone messages related to drugs.
Based on police investigation, the shooting may have been drug-related. Authorities are continuing their operation against the suspect, who was wearing an orange T-shirt, blue hat, and white shorts.
