A white luxury van with the brand name Lexus was spotted in a vacant lot in Barangay Patutong Malaki North, Tagaytay City, on Sunday morning. According to the Tagaytay City Police, this NFN 9274 has plate number and is allegedly connected to the case of the kidnapping of a foreign man.
The police received a report around 6:00 a.m., so they immediately went to the area. Using GPS and drone, they tracked the van to a soil dumping area near the new bypass road.
No suspicious activity was observed around the van. When it was inspected, no one was inside and no evidence of a crime was found.
The investigation by authorities is now continuing to determine how the vehicle is connected to the kidnapping.
The incident is being monitored while the search for possible involved in the case is ongoing.
