A 17-year-old Filipina died after being run over by a train at Greco-Pirelli Station, Milan, Italy on Saturday night.
Based on the report, the girl was crossing the tracks on a scooter with her parents, at around 10:31 PM when she was hit by a train. She was immediately taken to the San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, but she died during treatment.
The name of the victim was not given in the report, but authorities confirmed the incident.
The Philippine Consulate General in Milan expressed its condolences to the family of the deceased compatriot. They also asked the Filipino community to pray for the soul of the young woman.
