Bentley has launched a bespoke surfboard created in collaboration with Marnie Rays and Otter Surfboards. The surfboard is made from Koa veneer selected from Bentley's famous woodshop in Crewe, where the interiors of the brand's luxury grand tourers are also made....
This project combines Bentley's craftsmanship in woodwork, the hand-shaping skills of Otter Surfboards, and Marnie Rays' chill luxury style. The Koa wood from Hawaii pays homage to classic surfboard building and also demonstrates Bentley's commitment to using ethical materials.
A short film has been made to show the surfboard's journey from Bentley's headquarters to shaping in Cornwall, and its surfing moments on the Cornish waves. The surfboard features Bentley, Marnie Rays, and Otter Surfboards logos and will be on display at Marnie Rays’ VIP surf retreat in Cornwall.
After the official launch, the surfboard will be auctioned to raise funds for Surfability UK, a charity that helps people with disabilities, injuries, or learning differences surf.
