The Bureau of Customs (BOC) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have seized a parcel from London containing cocaine and ecstasy worth an estimated P1.5 million. The shipment was identified after PDEA received a tip.
The parcel arrived at the Port of Clark on April 25, 2025 and was subjected to a K-9 sniff test on April 28. It tested positive for drugs.
Inside the parcel was a travel kit and five vacuum-sealed packs. Two of these contained 128 grams of cocaine while the other three contained 208 grams of ecstasy.
The PDEA laboratory confirmed that these were dangerous drugs. As a result, a warrant of seizure was immediately executed against the shipment.
According to Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio, their operations are continuing to prevent the entry of illegal drugs into the country.
