KATSEYE is back with their first single "Gnarly", which will be part of their upcoming album that has yet to be released to the public. They announced the song's release on their social media, with a release date of April 30, 2025. The teasers include fun food-related visuals, and some squelching-like sound effects.
The cover art for "Gnarly", which is part of their comeback campaign, has also been revealed. There are plans to release concept photos and video teasers before the official release. According to their scheduler, there will also be choreography videos and dance practice videos to follow.
The single "Gnarly" will be KATSEYE's first step into their new era, following their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) in 2024. The album contained hit singles like "Debut" and "Touch", which topped local and international charts, including entering the No. 13 spot on the Billboard Philippines Hot 100.
