Samsung Electronics America has officially launched the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold in the US, featuring a 10-inch double-folding display. This new device offers a unique combination of smartphone and tablet, using Samsung's latest multi-folding technology.
At its thinnest 3.9mm, the Z Tri-Fold packs the power of an “Ultra” device into a triple-paneled frame. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and includes Galaxy AI features like Sketch to Image, Photo Assist, and Gemini Live, perfectly optimized for the large 10-inch screen. This allows multitasking across three screen segments or using the entire display for a creative and immersive experience.
Durability has not been neglected either. The Z Tri-Fold features a titanium hinge and reinforced shock-absorbing overcoat, so it can withstand 200,000 multi-folding cycles. This gives users confidence that the device will withstand daily use.
For design, the device was launched in an elegant “Crafted Black” colorway and comes with 512GB storage. This is one of Samsung's most ambitious moves to unify high-end smartphone and portable computing in one device.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold will be available starting January 30 at Samsung Experience Stores and on the Samsung webstore for a starting price of $2,899 USD. It's the new benchmark in foldable tech that combines style, durability, and advanced functionality.
