The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie Infinity Castle has officially become the highest-grossing international film in North America, breaking the record held for 25 years by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon....
In North America, the film grossed ₱7.5 billion (US $128.637M), including an additional ₱131M (US $2.25M) in its fifth weekend. As a result, it climbed to seventh in the box office rankings and set a new box office history.
Globally, it has grossed ₱37.8 billion (US $648M), making it one of the top 5 highest-grossing films of 2025. It also became the number one comic-based film this year, surpassing other popular superhero movies.
This success is not new for Demon Slayer either. In 2020, Mugen Train also managed to become the highest-grossing anime film at the box office. Now, Infinity Castle further solidifies Demon Slayer's position as the king of anime movies worldwide.
