The Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) has launched an anti-corruption hotline and online portal for citizens who wish to report anomalies in infrastructure projects, such as substandard works and overpriced projects.
Starting October 16, the public may call 8459-0143 from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Reports may also be submitted online at the “Report INFRA” portal, where the name of the project, type of anomaly, and its location will be entered.
M4GG has a technical and legal team ready to review the complaints and forward confirmed information to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI).
According to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, “We need whistleblowers to expose corruption. If we want real change, everyone must cooperate.” Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong added that corruption is a big problem and the people's help is needed to gather evidence.
Recently, M4GG requested access to the National Expenditure Program (NEP) and General Appropriations Act (GAA) from 2023 to 2025, including funding records for infrastructure and social services, to ensure transparency and accountability.
