The MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy celebrated its 2nd anniversary in Pasig City with the theme “Two Years of Safe Riding: A Success of Cooperation and Discipline.” The program aims to reduce motorcycle accidents through proper discipline and road knowledge.
The MMDA Riding School continues to offer a 2-day basic motorcycle riding course. This includes topics such as traffic rules and regulations, basic emergency response, parts orientation, and fundamental riding skills. Enrollment is free and a great help for novice riders.
During the celebration, various activities were held to promote responsible driving. There were safety booths, riding gear exhibits, and gymkhana demonstrations. Motorcycle groups and ride-hailing companies also attended in support of the MMDA's cause.
Now in its second year, it is clear that the Riding Academy has been a important step in shaping more disciplined riders and safer roads for everyone.
To enroll, you only need to submit a photocopy of your driver’s license or student permit, medical certificate, and waiver.
