The 23-anyos na si John Kyler Labora Andojon ay naaresto matapos umamin na siya ang pumatay sa kanyang tatay (50), nanay (48), at kapatid (14) gamit ang sledgehammer sa kanilang bahay sa Barangay Managok, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon noong Mayo 21, 2025.
According to Col. Jovit Culaway, provincial police director of Bukidnon, Andojon was cornered in Barangay 1, Malaybalay City on September 12. The operation was conducted by police together with several community leaders after receiving information from residents.
Relatives and neighbors shared that the suspect may have experienced severe depression after failing to complete his Criminology course due to problems with his studies.
Andojon was charged with 2 counts of parricide and 1 count of murder for the heinous crime against his own family. The incident sparked outrage in the community and quickly went viral on Facebook.
