
A newborn baby was found abandoned next to a creek in Ramon, Isabela on the morning of Monday, February 23. According to a report by authorities, the baby was found in a section of Macaniao Creek in Barangay Ambatali, immediately causing shock and concern in the community.
A resident first noticed a basin resting on a concrete barrier near the creek. When he examined its contents, he discovered a baby boy wrapped in a black pillow case. He immediately reported it to the barangay official, who called the police for immediate response.
Based on initial examination, it appears that the baby is newborn because its umbilical cord is still attached. The baby was immediately taken to the Rural Health Unit to provide the necessary medical attention and ensure its condition.
Currently, a police investigation is ongoing to identify the parents and those responsible for abandoning the baby. Authorities are calling on anyone with information to contact the nearest police station to shed light on this incident.
