A 45-year-old man died after being beaten by his coworker in Barangay Tactac, Balayan, Batangas, on Tuesday morning.
According to the initial report of the Balayan Municipal Police Station, both the victim and the suspect were working on cutting sugarcane. At first, the two were just joking around, but ended up fighting tensely and filled with anger.
Because of this, the suspect repeatedly stabbed the victim in various parts of his body. Several residents witnessed the incident and immediately rushed the victim to a nearby hospital.
Unfortunately, the man also lost his life due to the severity of the back injuries. This incident has caused fear in the community and reminds us of the importance of treating others with care, especially at work.
The police investigation continues while searching for the suspect who fled. The public is encouraged to cooperate and provide information so that the culprit can be brought to justice quickly.
