The first permanent Pokemon theme park has opened in Tokyo, Japan, offering cute rides and a woodland area where visitors can experience the “catch ’em all concept.” The new attraction has quickly become a hot topic and is considered the country’s new tourist hit.
The PokePark Kanto, located inside Yomiuri Land, Tokyo's largest amusement park, immediately greeted visitors with statues of Pikachu and other famous Pokemon. Due to high interest, tickets have already sold out for the next two months, as the number of overseas travelers to Japan continues to increase.
The park is divided into two main areas: a outdoor zone nearly half a kilometer long filled with Pokemon figurines, and a game-inspired town for shopping and rides. The park's opening reaffirms the global appeal of Pokemon, a Japanese cultural icon that continues to shape modern entertainment and tourism.
