A senior citizen man died after being stabbed inside his house in Barangay Buayan, M’lang, Cotabato, early Tuesday morning. According to initial reports, the victim was found dead in the living room, suffering from serious stab wounds.
In the investigation, it emerged that the wife, who is also a senior citizen, was the last person with the victim in the house. Authorities noted that there were no signs of forced entry and that there was blood on the suspect's foot, leading them to consider him a person of interest in the case.
Later, the wife confessed to the crime and was immediately arrested by the police. Authorities are continuing a thorough investigation to determine the motive behind the incident and prepare the appropriate case against the suspect.
