McDonald’s is reportedly partnering with Pokémon again for a Happy Meal promotion set to run from February to March 2026, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the iconic franchise.
According to the report, the collaboration could include four-card booster packs with one holofoil and three non-holo reprints. There is also speculation that it could be as extensive as the 50-card set released during Pokémon's 25th anniversary.
Collectors are also keen on the possibility of an English-language release of the exclusive Pikachu promo—the burger-eating Pikachu—which caused huge demand when it first appeared in Japan. Although there has been no official confirmation yet, this collaboration is considered a rare opportunity that combines the nostalgia of Pokémon Red and Green with the modern hype of the Pokémon TCG.
