President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reminded Filipinos to bring goodness, happiness, and good will to everyone, especially the children and marginalized this Christmas.
According to the President, no other occasion brings more warm and joyful feelings than Christmas. It is a time to appreciate the blessings of life and to gather with family and loved ones.
He emphasized that in the midst of joy, let's not forget the poor, sick, victims of calamities, and those on the fringes of society. Like Jesus, he encouraged everyone to share prosperity with others.
The President also expressed the hope that love and goodwill will continue to guide families and communities, and may every Filipino be light and goodness not only this Christmas but in the years to come.
Meanwhile, Malacañang said the President will work throughout the vacation to review the 2026 national budget before signing it. Some lawmakers are objecting to unprogrammed funds, which they say may be unconstitutional.
