
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested three suspects in connection with the robbery of a delivery truck carrying expensive electronic items at Betty Go-Belmonte Street, Quezon City on December 12, 2025.
According to the police, a driver and helper of an IT equipment company were on their way to Manila to deliver goods when they were blocked by nine armed men while stopping at a carinderia. The suspects took control of the truck and confined the victims in the cargo area.
The seized items included JBL speakers, computer parts, and accessories estimated to be worth ₱1.9 million. The truck was taken to Bulacan, where the victims were released in a vacant lot in Pandi.
With the help of CCTV tracking and special investigation team, the truck's movements were traced to Plaridel and back to Metro Manila. The driver Jereme voluntarily confessed, which led to the arrest of Christian and alias Malabad, and recovery of a JBL PartyBox 720.
The suspects are facing Qualified Theft, Robbery, and Carnapping under RA 10883. A manhunt is ongoing to catch the others involved.
