Comedian Pokwang apologized after her brother's viral altercation in Antipolo. Her brother was involved in patting a man who was pushing a cart with his son.
In a video on social media, Pokwang said she apologized to the father, child, and public for what her brother did. “Pedro’s sin is not Juan’s sin. Even though we share the same last name, our thoughts and actions are different,” Pokwang said.
She added that she was not happy about what happened and that she should not have defended her sister. “I'm sorry, I'll come visit you. I'm not siding with my sister, but as a mother, I also understand the situation,” she said.
Pokwang also criticized those who posted pictures of her family, which she said could be cyber bullying and cyber libel. She advised others, especially politicians who are not from Antipolo, to be careful with their posts and comments.
According to the LTO, the driver's license in the viral video was suspended for 90 days and a show cause order was issued against him.
