The Department of Justice (DOJ) reiterated on Wednesday that there is no record of Cassandra Li Ong leaving the Philippines based on available records.
Malacañang, meanwhile, confirmed that Ong, who is facing a qualified trafficking case, remains in the country.
According to DOJ spokesperson Atty. Polo Martinez, “We cannot disclose his exact whereabouts, nor can we rule out the possibility that he left the country through backdoor channels.”
The DOJ also announced a P1 million reward for anyone who can provide information leading to his arrest.
The DOJ continues to encourage the public to provide credible information regarding the whereabouts of Cassandra Ong.
