The possibility of the Yamaha XMax Tech Max being released in the Philippines has become even stronger after the LTO released a new document specifying the scooter specifications. Although there is no confirmation from Yamaha Motor Philippines (YMPH), it is clear from the documents that a new model is on the way.
It is said that it could be a additional variant and will be called XMax Tech Max, as the specifications are similar to the current XMax but with additional premium features. Like its predecessor, the scooter has a 292cc single-cylinder engine that can reach 150 km/h.
Based on LTO MC-MVL-2025-4762, the motorcycle has dimensions of 2,180 x 795 x 1,505 mm, 135 mm ground clearance, and 1,540 mm wheelbase. With 120/70-15 (front) and 140/70-14 (rear) tires, 258 kg net weight, and 354 kg gross weight.
If this is the Tech Max first spotted in Cabanatuan, it could have a 13-liter fuel tank, TFT display with navigation via Garmin StreetCross, a spacious underseat compartment for two helmets, USB Type-C, ABS, traction control, telescopic fork, and unit swing suspension.
If proven, the Yamaha XMax Tech Max will be a major addition to the Philippine maxi-scooter market.
