The official trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 has been released! The final chapter of the popular series will air in two parts, starting November 26 and continuing this Christmas, while the grand finale will be on New Year's.
The story takes place in Fall of 1987, where the town of Hawkins is in turmoil after the Rifts open. Eleven is in hiding while the entire area is under military quarantine. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance approaches, fear and danger return.
According to the Duffer Brothers, the new season begins in chaos because the characters lost in Season 4. They no longer experience normal life — lots of cameras, guards, and fear all around. Each character must unite for the biggest fight against a more powerful darkness.
Executive producer Shawn Levy said Season 5 is bigger and more epic — from the visual effects to the action scenes. But despite all that, he said the emotional connection to the characters fans have come to love remains.
