In a surprise contract signing, Andrea signed with MQuest Ventures — the company behind successful films like Gomburza, The Kingdom, and The Ride.
Present at the event were chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, president Jane Basas, and other MQuest officials. Andrea, who just returned from Morocco, beamed as she embraced the new phase of her career. According to her, MVP even called her “Beautiful, Intelligent, Wealthy” — three words that inspired her.
This actress shared her first time playing a lead role in a movie. Previously, she often played the role of a sibling or daughter in teleseryes. “Now, I really want to explore,” she said.
At the age of 22, Andrea has proven that she is more than just social media fame. After her successful performance as Fatima in Batang Quiapo, she is more determined to level up as an actress. She wants to try movies that are a mix of action, drama, and romance.
Under MQuest Ventures, Andrea's first lead film will begin filming this year. While details are still under wraps, it is expected to be a major step in her transition from teen icon to a true leading lady of Filipino cinema.
