The Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 denied Pastor Apollo Quiboloy's request to be placed under hospital arrest.
According to the clinical abstract from his doctor, Quiboloy's vital signs are stable and he has had no complaints since September 25. He has also been cleared for discharge by pulmonary, cardiology, and nephrology services.
Quiboloy requested to be placed at the Philippine Heart Center or Medical City, but the court said he was being properly cared for at the Pasig City General Hospital.
The court said that the medical attention he received while in custody at the Pasig City Jail was adequate. He is continuously monitored by qualified doctors and is receiving proper treatment.
Quiboloy is facing two charges of qualified human trafficking while being investigated by the court.
