The new Mitsubishi Versa is set to return to the Philippines as an entry-level MPV. Based on leaked LTO documents, it will be officially named “Versa” and will come in just one variant—the Versa GLX.
It has a 15 seater capacity and uses a manual transmission. Its dimensions are 4,710 mm long, 1,990 mm wide, and 1,695 mm high. The wheelbase is 2,555 mm. In terms of size and configuration, it is between the various Urvan variants already known in the market.
For the engine, the Versa has a 2.5-liter diesel engine similar to the one in the Urvan. It produces 129 horsepower and 356 Nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It weighs 2,011 kg and can carry up to 1,389 kg of cargo.
When it comes to price, it is expected to be priced at ₱1.5 million in showrooms in the Philippines. This is more affordable than the Urvan Premium which is priced at over ₱2 million. Expect it to be released in the coming months after the release of other new Mitsubishi models.
