
The U.S. Mint will issue a commemorative ₱75 coin in 2026 to commemorate Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple. It is part of the American Innovation Program that honors groundbreaking inventions and innovators from California.
The coin is designed to show a young Steve Jobs sitting cross-legged, with a background of Northern California hills. It also features his famous quote: “MAKE SOMETHING WONDERFUL.” According to the U.S. Mint, the design symbolizes his inspiration to make technology simple and natural.
Jobs is recognized as a leader in revolutionizing personal computing with the Apple II and Macintosh, and in revolutionizing the music and mobile industries with the iPod and iPhone.
The 2026 Innovation Coins include other works such as the Cray-1 Supercomputer and Mobile Refrigeration. The coins are limited edition and will not be used in general circulation.
The collectible coin can be purchased for ₱770 each, and is expected to be in-demand among tech fans and coin collectors.
