The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End manga is on indefinite hiatus due to health concerns of author Kanehito Yamada and illustrator Tsukasa Abe. This comes amid hype for a Season 2 anime adaptation.
This is not the first time the manga has gone on hiatus. In January, it also stopped for the same reason and only returned in July. After 6 chapters in two months, it suddenly went on an indefinite break again, leaving fans worried about the creators' health and the future of the storyline.
Good news because it will not affect Frieren Season 2, which will be released on January 16 next year. There are still enough chapters to make a full season. But it is not yet certain whether this will affect Season 3 if the hiatus continues.
