This Friday, she released her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” filled with upbeat pop songs about love, success, and coming to terms with the past.
On this album, Swift once again collaborated with famous producers, and immediately felt the catchy beats and innovative sound. On Instagram, she posted that the album was like a “self-portrait,” and shared a photo wearing showgirl outfits.
“Showgirl” has become the most pre-saved album on Spotify, beating the record set by her last album. Now, Swift's happier side is showing—in love with fiancé Travis Kelce, proud to have her music catalog back, and enjoying the record-breaking Eras Tour.
In the song “Wish List,” she sang about the simple dream of family and home. In the title track featuring Sabrina Carpenter, she told the story of the life of a showgirl and how it became part of her own story.
The special cinema event for the album is expected to gross approximately ₱1.7 billion to ₱2.8 billion. This includes the premiere of the music video “Ophelia,” behind-the-scenes clips, and lyric videos.
