HONOR has launched the Magic V5, its latest foldable phone that measures 8.8mm thick when folded and 4.1mm when unfolded. It is one of the thinnest innovations in the foldable phone market that continues to grow.
The Magic V5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It has a 6.43-inch external LTPO OLED display and a 7.95-inch internal display – both with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of brightness. There's a large 5,820mAh silicon-carbon battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. It's also rated IP58 and IP59, making it protected against water and dust.
Its productivity features are level-up. There is a Multi-Flex mode where you can open three apps at the same time. Both screens are compatible with a stylus for note-taking and drawing. It is based on MagicOS 9.0 which is simple and easy to use, suitable for those coming from iOS or Android.
AI integration is also strong. With Gemini AI and proprietary AI tools like HONOR Notes, multitasking and creativity are easier. For the camera, there is a 50MP main lens, 50MP ultra-wide, and 64MP telephoto with 3× zoom. There is also a front camera on both the cover and inner screen for clear selfies and video calls.
The HONOR Magic V5 starts at ₱120,000 (based on £1,699/€1,999 conversion). It is available in Ivory White, Black, Dawn Gold, and Reddish Brown.
