Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire hosted a two-day motorcycle festival on September 27-28 to celebrate 70 years of Yamaha. It featured parades of race bikes, celebrities, live music, demo rides, and more.
Although most of the bikes are Yamaha classic bikes, they are not limited to a single brand. Some of the bikes that appeared on the track include a Vincent Black Shadow and a Honda NSR500. There is also a display of various motorcycles for visitors to admire.
There were awards on Saturday night for the best track bikes, race bikes, and road bikes, followed by a concert from the band Ska’d Up. The festivities also included a trials riding exhibition in the wooded area of Cadwell Park.
Also joining in was Robspeed Yamaha dealership, which brought demo units such as XSR900GP, Tracer 9, and Ténéré 700. According to the owner, they have been partners with Yamaha for a long time and could not miss this important occasion.
Also included were Humberside Police who displayed their Yamaha Ténéré 700 patrol bikes as part of a campaign against unruly riders. For clubs such as UK 2 Strokes and Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club, the event was not just about the motorbikes but also about camaraderie and cooperation between fellow riders.
