Last Sunday, Donny joined the anti-corruption rally along EDSA where he carried a placard demanding the return of the people's money. Just a few days later, he once again showed his concern for the poor.
Vice Ganda's story, Donny called him after watching the episode where two cart vendors shared their hardships. Vice said, “He was devastated by the story and couldn't handle it so he wanted to give a gift.”
Vice thanked the actor for his gesture and noted that this would not be the last time Donny would help. He said, “This is not just his first and last help.”
