
32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala died after riding a rollercoaster at an amusement park in Orlando, Florida.
He rode Stardust Racers, a dual-launch coaster with speeds reaching 100 km/h and a height of 40 meters on more than 1.5 kilometers of track. It also has a section called Celestial Spin known for its inverted crisscross with colorful lights and music.
After the trip, Zavala was found unconscious and immediately taken to the hospital. He was pronounced dead after suffering blunt impact injuries, according to the medical examiner's report.
The management of the amusement park expressed shock and condolences to the victim's family. Stardust Racers has been temporarily closed while the investigation continues.
Epic Universe opened just a few months ago and is one of the new attractions in Orlando that attracts many tourists.
