
The Conjuring TV series on HBO Max has found a showrunner. Nancy Won has been selected as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.
Also included are Peter Cameron and Cameron Squires as writers. Won will serve as co-executive producer with Peter Safran, while James Wan’s Atomic Monster will also assist in the production.
No details have been released yet about the plot and cast of the upcoming series. HBO Max also declined to provide further comment.
This news comes after the premiere of Conjuring: Last Rites — the final film by Ed and Lorraine Warren. Surprisingly, it earned ₱11.3 billion (194 million USD) in its first weekend. It beat It to have the biggest opening weekend for a horror movie of all time.
