
PDEA operatives arrested two drug den operators in Kidapawan City and seized shabu worth ₱6.8 million from a drug den in Zamboanga City on Monday, September 8.
In Kidapawan City, two men were arrested after shabu and drug paraphernalia were confiscated from their hideout in Purok Mangga, Barangay Birada. The operation was conducted with the assistance of the Cotabato Provincial Police Office after barangay officials reported illegal drug sales in the area.
According to PDEA Region 12, the two suspects have been involved in the sale of shabu and marijuana for a long time and have connections to several remote barangays in Kidapawan and nearby towns. Their drug den was immediately shut down and guarded by barangay officials.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Sinunuc, Zamboanga City, a kilo of shabu worth ₱6.8 million was seized from a man after he sold it to undercover agents. He was immediately arrested with the help of barangay officials, informants, and support from the Police Regional Office-9.
Both cases are currently being investigated for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
