Caught on CCTV: Oven explodes in shopkeeper's face while baking in Manila bakery

The oven exploded in Manila while the shopkeeper was cooking bakery. CCTV footage shows Jake De Castro adjusting the gas valve to light the oven.

While turning the regulator, there was a gas leak that he didn't realize. Then, he put a piece of paper and lit it, and when he opened the oven, the flame quickly spread inside. An explosion occurred, causing him to fall and quickly run away.

According to De Castro, “I was cooking bread rolls when the gas ran out, so we bought a new cylinder and connected it to the oven. But I forgot to turn off the burner so it exploded.” Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
