
Two Low Pressure Areas (LPA) were spotted by PAGASA this Wednesday, August 27. One of them is around Patnanungan, Quezon and will bring cloudy skies and scattered rains over some parts of Luzon. It is not expected to develop into a typhoon.
According to PAGASA, rain and thunderstorms may occur in Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Central Luzon and CALABARZON. They also warned of possible flash floods and landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Another LPA was spotted at a distance of 200 kilometers from Dagupan, Pangasinan, but it has not yet had a direct impact on the country.
Meanwhile, the Southern will also bring cloudy skies and rain over Visayas, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Zamboanga Peninsula and Northern Mindanao. The rest of Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy weather with occasional rain or thunderstorms.
