The 56-year-old security guard was found dead floating on the shore of a lake near the Guest House of La Mesa Dam in Quezon City around 2:30 a.m. this Sunday.
According to the police, the victim, who is from Tondo, Manila, was assigned as a guard at the dam.
Based on the QCPD's initial investigation, the guard allegedly fell while trying to pick a mango from a tree.
He suffered serious head injuries from the fall.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) is currently handling the case for further investigation.
