BMW has teased a new street-legal track package for the 2026 M2. It features a large rear wing, and according to the brand, it is for those who want to experience track performance even on normal roads.
Currently, the 2025 M2 has a twin-turbocharged 3.0L inline-six engine that can produce up to 473 horsepower. For 2026, a more powerful CS model is expected, and now, a new performance kit from M Performance Parts brings even more extreme performance.
There are no complete details yet, but based on visible upgrades such as aero parts and a large wing, it likely also includes chassis tuning, possibly carbon-ceramic brakes, and increased engine power.
It's not yet clear whether it can be installed on existing units or if it has to be ordered with a new car. But one thing is clear—BMW has beefed up the M2 for enthusiasts who want track-ready performance in a street-legal vehicle.
The new package is expected to be released in 2026, so stay tuned for more information as the official launch approaches.
