A Chinese woman identified as Wang Xiujun, 43, was arrested at NAIA Terminal 3 on July 13. She was using the fake name "Cassia Palma Poliquit", similar to what former Bamban Mayor Alice Guo allegedly did. According to the Bureau of Immigration (BI), he arrived from Kuala Lumpur aboard Air Asia and was immediately arrested by personnel of the Border Control and Intelligence Unit (BCIU).
BI Commissioner Atty. Joel Anthony Viado ordered Wang's arrest after receiving information about his suspicious identity. NBI's fingerprint records confirmed that Wang and Poliquit were the same person, based on their dactyloscopy cross-examination.
Wang was dubbed “Ala Alice Guo” by Metro for using a fraudulent Filipino identity while involved in the business of selling electric vehicles in Metro Manila. It also emerged that Wang had a Philippine passport and birth certificate, obtained through late registration even though she is a Chinese national with an investor’s visa.
According to Viado, the BI and NBI are working closely together to hunt down foreigners using fake and illegal documents in the country. President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. continues to order the search and deportation of foreigners who violate the Philippines' immigration laws.
