The two Vietnamese nationals were arrested by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in Bel-Air, Makati City for alleged illegal cosmetic procedures.
According to the report, the operation began after a female client complained that she experienced damaged and dangerous results from nose lift and Korean fillers performed by the suspects.
The foreigners are allegedly not licensed and do not have the proper training to perform such procedures. Authorities conducted an entrapment operation after receiving information about their activities.
Some cosmetic tools and medicines used in their services were also confiscated during the operation. It is being investigated whether they have other victims.
CIDG continues to remind the public to only have their tattoos retouched by licensed and registered doctors to avoid risks and malfunctions.
