The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) will reopen free online Japanese language classes as part of a program that promotes cross-cultural understanding.
The class will cover essential grammar rules, vocabulary, everyday expressions, as well as the Hiragana and Katakana writing systems. In addition, Japanese culture, customs, and etiquette will also be discussed to better understand their way of life.
It is open to all Filipinos 18 years and above with good internet and gadgets that can be used with Zoom. To participate, simply register on the QCPL Facebook page. Slots are limited to 500 participants, so sign up soon.
The next batch will start on June 19. Once registered, you must confirm your attendance within 24 hours. Otherwise, your slot will be given to those on the waitlist.
To date, there have been 3,642 graduates from this program, and the last batch had 172 successful students. This is being done in partnership with Jellyfish Education Philippines Inc.
